On snapdragons and blogging

Hey there, this is my weblog on my media consumption and analysis on topics of interest in the field of media. Snapdragon is an old nickname and an online alias or handle of mine and it felt like a good time to resurrect it for this blog. I’ve occasionally mused over starting a blog about something like this before, doing casual reviews and thoughts on film and books. Now’s as good a time as ever.

• The Snapdragon is a symbol for both deception and graciousness, it also symbolises grace under pressure or inner strength in trying circumstances, due to its growth in rocky areas. Other common names for snapdragons include lion’s mouth, calf’s snout and toad’s mouth.
• Romans called snapdragons leonis ora, which translates to lion’s mouth
